Enrolments
Our zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au, which provides the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.
Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. Eligibility is determined based on the student’s permanent residential address.
Our school has an enrolment restriction under section 2.2.16 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic). The approved entry criteria for our school for the 2027 school year are:
- Students who live within the school zone.
- Students who have a sibling attending the school at the same time.
- Students seeking enrolment on compassionate grounds, in exceptional circumstances.
All students seeking enrolment at our school must meet one of the above criteria to be eligible for enrolment in 2027.
The Department of Education will review this enrolment restriction annually and provide updated advice as necessary for subsequent school years.
For more information, you can:
- Visit School Zones for answers to frequently asked questions.
- Call the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) on 1800 896 950.

Prep Enrolments
The Department of Education has a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline. This timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child in Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Saltwater P-9 College.
Information and resources about the enrolment timeline and procedures are available through Enrolling in Foundation (Prep). Families can also download the Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Information Pack for Parents and Carers, which is available from 20 April 2026.
Applications to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) at Saltwater P-9 College for 2027 will be available from 20 April 2026.
Year 1 to 6 Enrolments
While there is no statewide timeline for enrolment in Years 1–6, we recommend submitting your application as soon as possible. This allows sufficient time to arrange uniforms, stationery and any scheduled transition activities.
Please complete and submit the enrolment form.
Year 6 to Year 7 Placement Enrolments
If your child is seeking a place in Year 7 at Saltwater P-9 College for the following year and currently attends a Victorian government primary school, you will need to complete the relevant Placement Information Pack for Government School Parents and Carers.
This information pack may also be available from your child’s current government primary school.
The completed application form must be returned to your child’s primary school. Until the placement is confirmed, all communication regarding the application should be directed to the Year 6 Coordinator or Transition Coordinator at your child’s current primary school.
If your child currently attends a non-government primary school, please refer to the relevant Placement Information Pack for Government School Parents and Carers and complete the required application.
Further information for parents and carers is available on the Department of Education’s website under Moving from Primary to Secondary School.
