Physical Education – Secondary
Inspiring Active, Healthy and Confident Learners
At Saltwater P-9 College, Physical Education plays an important role in supporting students to develop healthy habits, confidence and a lifelong appreciation for movement and physical activity.
Our Secondary Physical Education program provides students with opportunities to develop their skills, fitness, teamwork and understanding of health and wellbeing through a diverse range of activities and sporting experiences.
Students are encouraged to challenge themselves, work collaboratively and develop resilience while discovering activities and sports that inspire them to stay active. Through practical experiences and engaging learning, we aim to foster a positive attitude towards physical activity and personal wellbeing.
Developing Skills Beyond the Classroom
Our program goes beyond physical skills, helping students develop communication, leadership, teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship. Students are encouraged to set goals, support one another and celebrate their progress.

We'd like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work, meet, educate and communicate. In particular, the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land, and pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We are truly grateful for this opportunity to share information with our community.
