About Us
About Us
Saltwater P-9 College is a vibrant and diverse school in the heart of Point Cook, with a clear vision: to educate students to thrive in an ever-changing world.
We believe every child should be known, supported, challenged and given opportunities to discover what they love and what they are capable of.
Strong foundations in Literacy and Numeracy sit at the heart of our learning, alongside rich experiences in Science, Humanities, Languages, the Arts, Sport and Technology.
We are proud of our strong Performing Arts culture, with students involved in Music, Drama, Dance, and performance. Our sporting program provides opportunities through Physical Education, competition and our Soccer, Basketball and Volleyball Academies.
Innovation is also a big part of Saltwater. Students explore digital technologies, robotics, coding and virtual reality, alongside hands-on learning in areas such as Food Technology, Wood Technology, Visual Communication, Media, and Textiles.
As students' progress through the College, they can explore an increasingly diverse range of subjects and electives from Science Extension, Business and Legal Studies to Café, DJ and Hair and Make-Up.
As an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme school, the IB Learner Profile is central to who we are. We want our students to be curious, knowledgeable, thoughtful, caring, confident and open-minded young people who are ready to make their mark on the world.
Whether a student's passion is academics, sport, performing, creating, designing or technology, we want them to find something at Saltwater that inspires them.
A place to belong, discover, achieve, and thrive.
Wisdom Begins with Wonder.

We'd like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work, meet, educate and communicate. In particular, the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land, and pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We are truly grateful for this opportunity to share information with our community.
