Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program
Saltwater P-9 College’s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program enables families to purchase education-specific laptops and accessories through JB Hi-Fi Education. Devices are selected to support students’ learning needs and are designed for the rigours of everyday school use. Education pricing offers value for families, with optional extended warranties and insurance available.
Important Changes from 2027
In line with the Victorian Department of Education’s digital learning requirements, from 2027, the BYOD program will apply to Secondary College students only (Years 7–9).
Secondary College (Years 7–9)
Families can continue to purchase devices through the JB Hi-Fi Education BYOD portal using the school code provided below.
Primary School (Prep–Year 6)
Students who already have a device enrolled and configured for use at Saltwater P-9 College may continue using it. However, from the end of 2026, no additional personal devices will be enrolled or configured for primary students. School-provided devices will be available to support learning in the classroom.
