Student Wellbeing
Supporting every student to feel safe, connected, and ready to learn
At Saltwater P-9 College, we take a whole-school approach to student wellbeing. We believe wellbeing is everyone’s responsibility and work collaboratively with students, families, and staff to create safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.
The Wellbeing Hub
The Wellbeing Hub provides a calm and supportive space for students who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or having difficulty regulating their emotions. Students can use the Hub to pause, co-regulate and develop strategies that support their wellbeing and readiness to return to classroom learning. Support is personalised to meet the needs of students at every stage of their learning journey.
Our wellbeing hub works alongside strong classroom practices, positive behaviour support and Respectful Relationships to help students build resilience, self-awareness, and emotional regulation. Our goal is to support every student to feel safe, connected, engaged and ready to learn, both within the classroom and across our wider school community.

We'd like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work, meet, educate and communicate. In particular, the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land, and pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We are truly grateful for this opportunity to share information with our community.
